Belly dance allows us an outlet to express ourselves whilst keeping active at the same time. However, often we spend all our time loving the dance, and neglecting to maintain the condition of our bodies to keep up with our graceful, strong, and often athletic movements!

As dancers, we want to ensure that we can perform to the best of our ability and as safely as possible. That’s why I’ve put together this lower body strengthening handout for you, and prepared a video on oblique strength for stronger hipwork!
